About Me

Hi! I’m Freddie Peterson, a marketing student with a unique ability to merge data-driven insights with creative storytelling. Currently, I am pursuing a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Advertising at SMU’s Cox School of Business and will graduate in May 2025. My education allows me to balance the analytical and creative sides of marketing, using data to inform strategy while curating compelling narratives that drive engagement. This dual perspective enables me to approach partnerships, VIP relations, and brand initiatives with both precision and creativity, making me a strong candidate for a career in fashion marketing, public relations, and talent relations.

My experience spans influencer marketing, talent relations, event coordination, and brand strategy within the fashion and luxury space. At Casalina, I’ve played a key role in identifying and vetting influencers, developing product descriptions that align with the brand’s voice, and supporting high-profile events, including a New York Fashion Week brand dinner. These experiences have strengthened my ability to foster brand partnerships, manage VIP and influencer relations, and execute engaging marketing campaigns that resonate with fashion audiences.

Beyond my professional experience, I’m currently running a personal research project on the TikTok algorithm, testing content strategies to optimize organic growth. Starting with zero followers in late January, I have been leveraging platform trends, engagement analytics, and creative execution to consistently gain over 500 new followers every week. Through my fashion-focused TikTok account, @fredsfits, I have built an engaged audience by curating content that blends personal style with trend-driven marketing strategies. This project has given me firsthand experience in audience engagement, digital influence, and content strategy, insights that directly translate to talent and brand relations in the fashion industry.

I’m currently seeking opportunities in fashion marketing, talent and VIP relations, as well as public relations, where I can combine my strategic mindset, relationship-building skills, and passion for the industry to create meaningful partnerships and impactful brand moments.
